Unless you have a very specific need having the manual for each component is a waste of time. If you know how to adjust any derailleur/brake, etc. it's not a great leap to do another. Fine if you just want to know for the sake of it, but it's certainly not necessary. For decades upon decades such information was not even easily available to shops, let alone consumers.
