Ah, okay, thanks for the link. That's where Shimano is different than Tektro, I guess.

ETA: The ferrules were supplied with the brakes. I didn't change levers. Also, I'm a consumer, not a mechanic, so I went by the included instruction sheet which was singularly unhelpful. The only pertinent information it contained was how to adjust the pads to the rim and how to open and close the brakes. Nothing at all on installation.
