I think it's too much too. I got my Dad something once for feeding the squirrels that he and the squirrels love. It's an eye hook attached to one end of a spring. The other end of the spring has a cord attached to it, and you put an ear of corn on the eye hook so it's hanging off the ground. The squirrels bounce around on it while eating the corn, and it's pretty amusing to watch.
