Tons of them were hooked up to combines and driven backwards, lasting until they caught fire in some field and burned slam up. Massey-Harris tractors are sometimes seen at the classic & vintage tractor pulls, and from about mid-Illinois up into Canada, you can find them. I love old tractors, as long as they are not green and yellow.
My dad's tractor is a 101 junior. There isn't a speck of paint left, but it runs like a champ. My great aunt gave the tractor to Dad after her husband passed away. The tractor had sat for a couple years, but with jumper cables and a little ether, it started right up. I have an International Cub Lo Boy in the barn. Old tractors are simple to work on like old bikes, but they take up a lot more space.
