The bars are 22.2mm which is not as common or nice as 31.8mm, so if you replace the bars you may also end up replacing the stem.
The bars won't be 22.2mm at the middle where they are clamped by the stem. They could be anything ranging from 25.4mm to 31.8mm at the clamping point.
