In the steel world stiffer usually equals lighter. Tubesets that are thinner, multi butted and can be wider at the bottom bracket or lugged frames that reinforce flex points. I'm 170 lbs so not super heavy but not a feather weight roadie either and I can't come close to flexing my Ironman which is a 30 year old Tange 1 frameset.
