You're actually hitting one of my pet peeves...the entire concept of hijacking a thread is ridiculous to me. It's a conversation...they meander. It's natural...it's how people talk and exchange ideas.

I don't think 60s Italians are that dissimilar from later Japanese sports tourers. My 60s Cinelli SC reminds me a lot of my old Miyata 914...it's a little more responsive, a bit flexier...but it's not that different in phillosophy. Give it a try...I think you'd end up liking it. If memory serves, you're Canadian...I'm not sure which of the imports are more prevalent in your area (if any), but a disproportionate number of 60s italians in the US are frejus or Legano. I'd target one...they're usually not TOO crazy priced.
