The Hazel bridge... The Jedidiah Smith aka American River Bike Trail crosses the river here. To the west it's on the south side of the river and to the east it's on the north side of Lake Natoma. The offshoot Lake Natoma trail continues east past the Sac State aquatic center on the south side. There are protected bike lanes on either side of the bridge and an underpass on either end of the bridge with little offramps as needed. You can see at some points there are six parallel bike routes. My route goes south along the northbound side of the bridge, giving Strava fits. You can see it's picked up two segments I'm not actually on.
