Indeed. Back in the early 80's I built up a bike for my sweetie starting with an unusual, built-as-a-showpiece frame I found at a LBS. By the time I was done it cost about $600. When I described it to an insurance agent she was astounded.

Re CT's or TC's, I believe my Moto is a '74 CT. It carries details of the '74 but also details that shouldn't be there. It appears to have been crashed (but not head-on) and repainted, probably around '82 because it has the '82 color and DT lettering that is not quite right. It rides like a dream.
