^Personally, I would avoid using a carbon bike (that is lugged, painted carbon, right?) as a commuter if I had to leave it locked up in a rack. Too much risk of damaging the carbon tubes against a metal pole or from others carelessness. Re the front quick release, it's on backward. Or maybe your whole wheel is backward? Rim decals should be legible from the drive-side and the QR lever on the non-drive side. In all practicality, it doesn't matter, but it's standard to put the QR levers on the non-drive side. You don't want to confuse the neutral support mechanic who rushes out for a speedy wheel change. You do have team and support cars following you at all times, right?
