Yes ... break free ... have fun ... explore ... enjoy! Take it easy ... stop at cafes or whatever along the way for lunch and snacks. Take pictures.

And unless there's some really nasty weather or something, ride back, but perhaps try to ride back on a different route.

Make sure you've got tire repair equipment and a rain jacket.
