Happy Birthday Machka!

Yesterday was the first outdoor ride of the season for the wife and I. We stumbled a bit on the start due to having technical difficulties with our Cardo intercom system. It was our first ride ever with them. Once we got them paired up they were awesome. I could speak in a regular voice and be heard like we were in a quiet room sitting next to each other, even with the wind noise.

I felt like a champ and really think my indoor spin work has helped me a lot. I felt really strong and could have easily done 40 miles without caring much. The wife was not quite as happy.

The result, 9.1 miles. The MUP still had some snow and ice on it and was a little rough on me mentally to the point that I was ready to turn around and head back. Since my wife was being a Debbie Downer/Negative Nancy we headed home. I think the previous day of all day drinking didn't help her much either. Tomorrow all of the garbage should be gone and we will have a nice 60° day here. I'm ready to go again, I need to get at least 20 miles in though.
