600k brevet over Saturday Sunday. We missed the torrential rain and gales on the Friday, and enjoyed a tailwind for the ride south on the Saturday. Quite a lot of rain but some nice sunny spots too.
Made good time covering the first 370km in 18hrs, a nice meal and 3 hr sleep at the motel control before tackling the challenging 130km through the Southern Alps. Leisurely cruise in to Christchurch with either downhill or a tailwind for the last 100km. 39hrs. Rode a 200/300 and 400 over the preceding week so pretty amazed to finish the 600 within the time limits. Having a great support crew and lots of people to ride with helped a lot.

Sorry my Garmin ate the first 180km, we started north in Nelson.
