Actually it makes me quite an avid poster, but never so vain that I think my numerous posts/opinion/viewpoint necessarily represents all other bicyclists/commuters/posters. Just as the opinions/polls posted on BF Commuting by Self Styled Avid Cyclists often do not represent the broad spectrum of people who ride bicycles either for commuting or transportation purposes, but often just a subset of sporting cyclists who also commute, and are passionate enough about their preferences/biases to post them to BF.
A few avid posters apparently get hurt feelings and all insulted to read an observation that some opinions posted on BF are not necessarily applicable to cyclists in general but may apply specifically to Self Styled Serious Cyclists who take themselves oh-so-seriously.
