No humidity is the biggie. And no mosquitos. But 100°+ for six+ months a year is pretty ominous.

The only part I'd mind is the sun. When I was driving down I stopped at a gas station... I forget exactly where, but I remember walking inside to pick up a bit of food ("food"), and feeling like the sun was trying to scour me off the face of the earth, just in the less than a minute I was walking. Sunscreen sucks, and I burn too easily.
The temperature would be fine if I wouldn't burn.
