I realize the soft shifting will be something I have to live with, although when I get around to replacing cables with regular maintenance (which will probably be by next winter at the rate I'm riding it) I think I'm going to replace the rear derailleur housing with something much better than Sram housing. The front shifts fine, but the rear isn't even close to how crisp my bike with 10 speed Force feels (which has very little housing).
