Hi I need help

I have just build a Bike for my wife based on a Peugeot frame. The fram was in ok condition from the start BUT was hand brush painted så no decals or anything was visible, I used some paint stripper to get to the main decal so I know its a Peugeot.

First I thought it was Optimum but looking at pictures I find that this could not be true (it has internal cable in upper tube)

Then I thought it was a Criterium but Im not so sure right now

The Serial number is Y303 05690

Can anyone help me identify the bike and satisfy my curiosity
