It does help us weight and decide what to believe, however we are frequently wrong in that way.
you have a point.
with a slow motion camera and photos i could have once been seen as intentionally throwing my arm up in the air and knocking a platter of food and drinks all over a nice ski resort bar/restaurant. i was only telling a story and at the proper moment stood up and gesticulated, wildly, to add emphasis to my story. it can happen.
we don't know what was going on around that old guy that caused the wreck. he may have been using one arm to try to prevent a dog from running out on to the course and his other arm unknowingly, in order to balance himself, flew out and hit the handlebar of the rider. we just don't know. i imagine someone will eventually ferret out whether it was intentional or not. but it didn't look good, i'll admit that!
