I have good experience with conti 4-seasons 28 mm, folding. My commute takes me through less than desirable neighborhood where bike lane is littered with just about anything, broken glass is a staple. My son rides 25 mm and loves them too.

Bonus point - I can take them off and mount back on without ruining my manicure. Both bikes.
