I have two friends who had a23s, and got rid of them. They are apparently very difficult to mount tires on. One friend routinely rolls tires into his rims with no levers -- took him an hour to change a flat with a23s.
No idea if that was just a bad run or not, but both guys are now on different rims (archetypes and HED Belgiums)
The key to the A23 is to use a thin tubeless tape (as we recommend), even with tubes. Thick rim tape, like Velox, will make tire mounting difficult due to the tubeless web design. With two layers of Velotape, I've yet to find a tire I can't mount easily by hand on an A23.
