If you're looking for an on-the-floor storage solution, I do like the Rakk linked by JanMM (I don't particularly care for the Rakk when adding air because it holds the tire securely enough that it's a little bit of a pain to get the valve in the right position - I usually roll the bike off the Rakk, then lean it against something to put air in the tires).
