Update... I bought the bike and the seller got the shifter working. The bike rides nice and shifts smoothly. This is a Canadian bike built in Rivers Manitoba in the 70's. Should be a easy restoration and my daughter likes the color. Just have to add a basket and a bell and it's good to go...
