I just put those same Thickslicks on the wheels for a build I'm working on...a 2010 Schwinn Corvette frame to be built with all sorts of non-OEM parts. The wheels are Weinmann AS7X rims attached to Shimano hubs, and along with the width + Thorn-resistant tubes + Mr Tuffy's liners, she's gonna be a heavy beast, but I love those tires, hands-down...got a set of 28mms on one of my Racers, and they flow like a river.
