I had a giant hybrid (escape) last year that I used for commute and long joy rides, but sometimes i felt quote exhausted and think a road bike would have helped. Alas, it was stolen in October so I've been looking for a replacement for this past month. I found a Defy 3 used and that's why I asked for your opinions on it. It seems that you are all unanimously in support of it. Thanks!

But now another question I have is what type of pedals I could get. The bike doesn't come with any. Where's the cheapest but best option buy it as well?
