I can't imagine anything worse than having a collection of self-proclaimed cycling "advocates" purporting to speak for me/my interests as a cyclist. The thought of yet another collection of loons sipping from the public trough is, quite simply, revolting; the existing confederation of dunces is quite enough to be going on with, at least up here.
