According to specs, you would not be able to connect two tail lights to your system. But that's theory. In practice, it might work.. That way, if either system fails, I am still likely to have one working light. The battery powered light flashes, and that might be good for getting attention. I figure having two lights that behave differently when they are both on is a good thing.
