Yep. As long as the left arm doesn't hit the frame it's not a mechanical issue. When you install your crank check your chainline to make sure it's in the ballpark. A couple millimeters either way usually isn't an issue with derailer gearing but if it's too far off stuff gets wonky.
If one arm is much further in/out than the other it's possible your legs won't like it. But I've never experienced any discomfort in practice.
Not all cranks provide symmetrical "q-factor" or tread either.
