I know there are a few C-dale lovers here, so thought I would let you folks have first crack at this before it goes on CL to some person who's going to leave it out in the back yard in the rain.

This is my wife's R300 that we bought in 1996 in Northern Va. It has a Shimano RSX group. It is the dark metallic green. The original shifters died over the years and I recently replaced them with a block logo RSX set, doesn't match the blue logo on the rest of the gruppo. Otherwise the only replaced component is the saddle, a Performance Forte women's saddle, which is actually pretty nice. Being my wife's bike, this does not reflect the anal retentive attention to cleanliness and perfect function of my own bikes, but I have spent some time with it recently and it rides and shifts really well. I regreased the hubs, new brake pads, new rear shifter cable, and replaced the other cables with good quality, old, "not ready to be thrown away yet" cables. The chain still has some life in it. I'm pretty sure I replaced the BB a few years ago and not many miles on it since. Brakes don't have any logos, so can only assume they are RSX. They are the original to the bike.

This bike was mostly a work horse, being my wife's occasional - ride as fast as you can - bike, fair weather commuter, and grocery getter. More recently it has been the tow boat for the baby trailer, then trail-a-bike. The past 2 years it has been a dust collector, hanging on the wall, so she needs a new rider. There are a lot of scratches and blemishes, mostly on the top tube from bike locks and leaning on street signs, but no dents or bends.
