There's at least one model of Tektro dual pivot brake (T539) that opens wider with the quick release. Grant Peterson says that it opens 9mm rather than the typical 4mm. Up to you whether a dual pivot brake is what you're after, but I'm of the opinion that they are much easier to use than good single pivots (although there arguments to that point).
