Bikes: It's complicated.

Please tell us your age: 56

1. What type of bikes do 50+ folks ride? This 50+ guy rides a bit more upright than a few decades ago. I switched from long TT, 14cm, slammed stem racers to handlebars same height as seat bikes.

2. Do you take any special supplements/vitamins/minerals as you have grown older? Vitamin I daily

3. How much do you feel you have "slowed down" if any? Slower, but I'm compensating by tapering.

4. How long have you been biking? New, around a while, biked all your life? First "10 speed" when I was 13, First "real bike" when I was 15, rode down the Pacific Coast when I was 18, several tours in my 20's, triathlons in my 30's, married, kids, now I'm back in the saddle, again, with a rando style.

5. What type of biking do you do? Long rides, touring, short rec rides. Commute to work, 1 week long tour/year. a few 200k brevets/year is my current goal.

6. How often do you bike? Your approximate annual mileage? Commute 17 miles round trip 4 days/week as a goal, ~5000 miles annually
