The Ritchey is a 3-bolt stem, and the top bolt isn't all the way up at 42mm, so I don't need 7 more mm to make it work. I think another 5 or 6mm will work, and the 3mm Woodman cap would hypothetically give 6mm more. It doesn't seem impossible to me.

And I really can't justify another few hundred for a fork just to use a cooler stem.
Also Im just borrowing the stem on there atm, so I'd rather use the Ritchey I already own.
