Yesterday I assembled it in my shop while it rained all day, and took it out for a quick ride in the rain once it was operational. Today I went for a ride of between one and two miles offroad, and had a blast. It was very rough going, and I either wouldn't (because of the extreme effort involved) or couldn't have made that journey in my wheelchair. I believe the Nuke is going to really help me return to trails that I've not seen for years.

I'm having a couple of problems, and I hope someone here can help me sort them out. The first is that I don't know how to operate the wireless control.

It is fully charged and displays correctly when turn on, but pressing the "+" and "-" buttons just doesn't do anything. To the left of the speed indicator it says "+5" (where is says "+8" in the image) but nothing I do will change that. It does provide assist, but the only way I have of turning off the assist is to turn off the main battery.

The second issue is a loud squeal coming from the rear wheel. This is not coming from the brake (which also has a bit of a squeak, but eventually I'll get that sorted out). The squeal starts when I pedal, and is persistent and quite loud. If I stop peddling and coast the squeal continues. Sometimes, but not always, if I apply the throttle and run on straight motor for a few seconds, the squeal will stop, and will stay away if I resume peddling. If I stop and start again peddling, the squeal returns. It definitely appears to be coming from the Falco hub. When I got home I put the rear of the trike on a jack stand and operated the pedals, and the squeal was emitted then too.

I have a call in to Jake at Reactive Adaptations, and if I can't resolve it by then, I'll also call Falco next week. But in the meantime, if you know of anything for me to try, I would appreciate hearing about it. Also, I've seen Mr. Rakesh Dhawan answer questions here; if you see this I would appreciate your help.

Thank you.

Take care, Tom
Did you pair the Console to the Motor? If not, try this:
