Bikes: Pinarello FP Due, Cesare track bike modified for the street.

Google does cue sheets :-)

I wanted to take a ride to my favorite ice cream shop O Wow Cow OwowCow in Ottsville. I decided to see how far it was and used Google maps. I clicked on directions, entered my home address then got the car route. I then clicked on the bicycle icon and got the bike friendly route. Google has improved this feature and it seems to pick well. I then took the step by step directions and copied and pasted them into Excel using the keep destination format option. Bada-bing bada-boom, instant cue sheet. With a tiny amount of formatting it was perfect for the ride. It even routed me on a paved bike path that I did not know existed. The bike rout feature will also give you a terrain profile to let you know what you are in for.

The ride took me on a couple of local roads that I had not been on that were good and a paved bike trail that I did not know existed.

Ride Safe,

Joe
