The Schwalbe supreme touring tires are first rate tires and 565 grams is pretty reasonable given the level of flat protection these tires have. World first: Marathon Supreme | Schwalbe North America Plus these tires deal with rough stuff very well.

If I had to buy tires again, I would have picked the 26 x 1.6 version of these tires. I bought the tires in the middle of winter and at the time I was thinking of how much I like 2.0 tires for riding over snow. Plus in the winter you tend to ride a lot in the dark when it can be harder to pick a good line.

Still these are remarkably good tires that handle very well and have excellent flat protection; they fully deserve their first rate reputation.
