Funny, this seems to be a hard concept for you to grasp. It becomes a factor right away. The more weight you move, the more it costs you in energy to move it versus a lighter weight. Take a light dumbell of 5 lbs. and curl it to exhaustion. Now take one that is 2 1/2 lbs. and see if you can't curl it more times. Get it?
