It was a great ride home and I had a rare tailwind.

The wind shifted overnight, so I had a nice tailwind most of the way to work this morning as well. The weather gods are smiling on me after so many lousy days over winter. I might take the long way home this afternoon if the winds calm down a little and my wife doesn't mind me getting home late. My afternoon commute takes 2 hours when I go the long way but there is virtually no traffic.
I have a similar route that I take home when I'm in no hurry and the weather is agreeable. I love when I can pedal for 15-20 minutes without seeing a car on the road. It was 38F this morning and should be 67F on the way home with a tailwind.
