As "everybody knows", riding a bicycle with flat bars for any -- I repeat, any -- distance over ten miles will inevitably result in severe short and long term injury and disability, including but not limited to severe discomfort in your wrists etc. Continued attempts to do rides in excess of 10 miles not using drop bars will result in your arms falling off.
