Cantilever boss accidentally unscrewed with v-brake, from carbon fork. Re-install?

I accidentally removed a cantilever post from my fork while attempting to remove a set of v-brakes

While unscrewing the bolt on the right brake arm, the only thing that loosened was the canti boss itself, which came right out.

My guesses:

1. either the brake bolt was installed it too tightly by me
2. or I had too much tension on the spring tension adjuster and should have loosened it first
3. the fork is just low-quality. I did not see any loctite material on the threads of the loose canti boss

The question

Is it safe to re-install the canti boss, and if so, is there a rough amount of torque I should aim for? I managed to get the canti boss loose from the bolt and it's ready to re-install.

I am paranoid about carbon, and if the issue here is that the fork is of low quality, I'm not sure I want to ride on it at all
