what are you doing that you are carrying that much load? are you touring on this bike or using it as a commuter? Either way I would buy a bike to suit your needs vs buying a road "racing" bike. Look into an aluminum or steel cyclocross bike, you can run wider tires and racks on most. In most cases the geo will be better for your needs, assuming you're not racing.
