All seriousness aside, even a humble low-end bike boom 10-speed can be great fun and very cheap and practical transportation. If you care about your "good" bikes, you always want to have at least one beater that is reasonably theft-resistant, not worth much, but reasonably enjoyable to ride. My UO-8 fits this description well.
It's one size too small for me so it would be trading material or a parts bike, I already have a beater bike.

That's pretty much what I'm expecting to find tomorrow but probably not that clean and if it is I'll be leaving without it. I just about have my previous low end acquisitions cleared out and have made a St. Patrick's Day resolution to not drag any more home. No more Hi Ten frames or stamped drop outs are following me home unless they are in mint condition and free or I'm getting paid to haul them off.
