A friend of mine has deep v's and him and I both took off at the same time coasting down the crest hwy. I had Open Pro rims as we coasted down the hwy he just pulled away from to 100 feet ahead of me easily. We then repeated the same thing this time I had Velocity Aerodead rims laced with radial lacing. We stayed at the same speed pretty much. What a difference.
You should try and submit that experiment to Science, I'm sure they'd agree.
