You should see some Brooks saddles on touring bikes. I have seen some with noses tilted so far up that I wonder how the riders keep from sliding off the back. But may people swear by a nose-up position to one extent or another.

As I'm reading this thread, I'm thinking about my new Brooks, I need to check the angle because I feel like I'm sliding forward. This is not an issue with any of my other saddles (standard synthetic saddles), the Brooks might need to be nose up a degree or two.
