This is what I've heard about Portland. Riding all year around is very appealing, however, since San Antonio affords me at least that. The mountain biking thing is a bit saddening to hear, however. We must be lucky to have places like McAllister Park and OP Schnabel so close by.

No car, however, is mighty appealing .... thanks for the info. I might have to start eyeing that poprad disc again ....
