Speedplay Pedals

or

Giro Air Attack Shield

Okay. Now for the reasons why I shouldn't buy one or the other:

Speedplay pedals: I have already purchased the Shimano A530 about a month and a half ago. Bought them because I wanted to run clipless but at the same time I needed platforms just in case I wanted to do a casual ride or go to the store to pick up sugar and milk. Another reason is, how many times do I really clip in during a ride for me to spend more money for the added convenience.

Giro Air Attack Shield: I already have a Giro Savant which I never crashed in so the helmet is still mint. 250 bucks for a helmet is pretty steep.

The reasons why I want to purchase:
Speedplay pedals: This is the other side of my last reason, trying to find the clip-in side after coming to a halt is freaking annoying. I don't ride my bike in traffic but can't imagine but frustrating it could be. When I eventually start riding on hectic roads I'm sure not looking down to clip in would be really beneficial.

Air Attack: I wear glasses so the visor would really help. The Savant makes me head look like a freaking mushroom. The Savant is red/black/white. Clashes pretty hard with my all black bike. Petty I know but still a reason!
*I bought the air attack (no shield) and realized that it looks only MARGINALLY better on my head. The shield is the one that made the helmet look good. But then again, I don't have an aero bike so not sure if it would look weird for me to wear a helmet with a visor when Im riding a regular road bike. The visor over my prescription glasses is the real reason why I'm attracted to it.

Any helps brothers and sisters?
I've got to go with the helmet. Instead of pedals, I'd have put shoes against helmets in my "blow the dough" challenge. Haha
