Its a great frame, I've got a 520 and wish I had a 720 just for the better steel. It's worth it to keep it because as you can see online finding another at a reasonable price is some what of a fantasy. But I see them go for 700-800 tuned up(new cables, housing, tubes, tires and wrap). Not sure how hot the LA market it for tourers, but I but you could list the 720 for 700 on CL and someone from NorCal would make the drive for it. If it was a 60cm I'd go 700 shipped but as it has been mentioned shipping can cost you if you don't have friends at a bike shop.

Final word: List it for 700 as it sits, few good photos and say it's a barn find 720. You'll have a buyer in a few weeks at latest.
