Hi folks -

I have a new (to me) Gary Fisher mtn bike (Big Sur). I rode it to work on Friday and to the LBS and it rode like a dream but boy was it DIRTY. I've spent some decent time cleaning it up and I just (newbie alert) put a new Wippermann chain on it.

My initial ride around the 'hood w/the new chain and clean cassettes, etc was less than pleasant. The chain was noisey and it skipped once.

What did I do wrong?
