Get the "funnest" bike on your list. You will smile every work day.

Also, since your MTB has fenders, you might not really need the new bike to "take fenders", if that opens any further options for you. This assumes you'll ride the MTB on rain days...sadly, we haven't had many of those in California.

I will guess that most disc-compatible frames will also be fender-capable, anyway, but that it just a guess.
