I will staunchly defend my right to use commas, even in the face of those meddlers who will alter my mileage. And by the way, I defy anyone to cite an authoritative source that says numbers with 4 or more digits should NOT have commas! There are certain exceptions, like years and phone numbers, but mileage is not one of them.

Yes, there are those anal meddlers who will go through the entire list taking commas out. But I have decided to take a stand. I will not only defend my commas, but I will counter attack and fire my comma cannon at anyone who dares defile my mileage.
