From my researches, typical 700 wheel is 62.2 cm. Thus, you need 62.2*62.2 minimal area to fit one. For my air carrier, Max. linear dimensions per bag: 158 cm (62in). Which means that 62.2+62.2+33.6 = 158 cm. Hence the 62.2*62.2*33.6 max dimensions.
I would probably need something like 65*65*28 to fit the wheels together. I wonder if such luggage exits? I've seen some but they are made of soft fabric which is a no-no. I need a nuclear proof case. I intend to squeeze inside a groupset too! Insurance will of course be added to cover an eventual loss. I can import up to 800$ and I intend to take as much as I can to Canada.
I guess taking with me the wheels might be a bit problematic if not impossible. Just asking if any body ever did it. I can also pay a 100$ fee to add a luggage but again, I will need a proper case to protect them.
