And it's unbelievable some of the comments Trek is getting on this...the blame, comments about that's what you get for getting a cheap bike instead of a Specialized etc (who had an aerobar recall just last month).
But yeah, if you don't close your QR lever properly, or if you leave your brakes open, you'll have issues.
